Rumsfeld, delivers a powerful blow, christening Arlington (LPD 24) at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding's Pascagoula facility Saturday, March 26. Bearing witness to the historical event are (left to right) Jim Schwartz, Arlington County Fire Chief and a 9/11 first responder; Irwin F. Edenzon, vice president and general manager, Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding - Gulf Coast; and U.S. Navy Cmdr. Darren W. Nelson, the ship's prospective commanding officer.
