On Saturday, April 8, Ingalls Shipbuilding will celebrate the christening of the thirty-first Arleigh Burke-class Aegis Guided Missile Destroyer Paul Ignatius (DDG 117) built by Ingalls Shipbuilding. The ship is named for the former Secretary of the Navy, The Honorable Paul Ignatius. His wife, Mrs. Nancy W. Ignatius, is the sponsor.
